The Kayenta Township invites the public to attend Kayenta Aviation Day at the Kayenta Airport on May 2, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
This community event will highlight aviation’s importance to the region and Kayenta’s role as the Gateway to Monument Valley. Attendees can enjoy an aircraft static display, local food vendors, Navajo arts and crafts, and music throughout the day.
Kayenta Aviation Day is a family-friendly event designed to bring together residents and visitors for an engaging and educational experience.

Vendor Opportunities Available for Aviation Day 2026
The Economic Development Office is seeking interest from food vendors and art and craft vendors to participate in Aviation Day, scheduled for May 2, 2026. This community-focused event celebrates aviation while providing local businesses and artisans an opportunity to connect with residents and visitors in a lively, family-friendly setting.
Aviation Day will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with vendor setup available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Road access will close at 9:30 a.m. Vendors interested in showcasing their offerings are encouraged to contact the Economic Development Office for additional information at (928) 697‑8451, or if you want to fill out a vendor form the PDF version will be located at the bottom. Participation in this event offers valuable exposure and supports a vibrant local marketplace during a well-attended community celebration.
